The Choir
A lively mixture of voices of all ages and types, this group of people loves to sing. We provide music for weekly worship services and other seasonal services as well as for life celebrating events such as weddings, and memorial services. We thrive on an eclectic blend of styles, focussing on weekly worship services, other special seasonal services and concerts. We reach out by participating in or hosting community choral events, ranging through African American gospel, contemporary folk, classical church music, to Dixie jazz. We love to sing with other choirs, with concert bands, and orchestras.
We meet Thursdays at 7:30
The Handbell Choir
These bells (like the old handheld school bells!) range from the tiny and silvery sounding to the powerful and heavy. We enhance worship services - sometimes we get invited to play for weddings or other life celebrations. No one gets left out in this group - bellringing requires lots of cooperation as well as a sense of humour!
We meet Tuesdays at 7 pm
