Children's Church
On Sunday Mornings, worshipping as a community is important and so children and youth join with everyone else in the sanctuary as we begin our 10:30 service. About 10 to 15 minutes into the service our young people are invited to head out to engage in their own programming . We have a different format this year for our young people, if you find your child’s age group below you will get a glimpse of the ways in which your child(ren) will be exploring their faith.
Wee Wonders (for children 3 years old up to and including those who are 5years old)
If your child(ren) are in the Wee Wonders group, they will be gathering together in the “Block Room”. This room is downstairs, turn left and go to the end of the hall then turn right...it’s the first room on your left.
The children will be hearing some of our foundational biblical stories and then wondering with their leader before having an opportunity to respond in a way that makes the most sense for them. The storytelling method is a great way for young children to find their way into the stories.
Children’s Church (for children in grades 1 up to and including those who are in grade 6)
For children who are in Children’s Church this is a chance to dive into a number of biblical stories and/or characters over a few weeks in a variety of ways!
This fall we will learn a little about Creation, understand the lessons of David & Goliath, and walk with Saul on the road to Damascus. There will be life-sized games, drama, cooking just to name a few. We sure hope you will join us on these adventures.
We will begin this new format on October 2nd!
September 11th & 18th will be All Ages together in the gym! We will be making life-sized cut-outs of ourselves as we get to know each other and begin to build our community. Our cut-outs will be put onto the gym walls so everyone in the church family can get to know us a little better!
September 25th will be an All Ages Blessing of the Animals Worship Service at 10:30am... Nursery will be available however, no separate Children’s programming will be.
